Mindfulness can be defined as "the simple act of actively noticing things." Considering the 'busy'-ness of our daily lives, stopping long enough to pay attention to anyone or anything can and does become a challenge. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a consious practice to greet life and its daily challenges with purposeful intention while establishing a daily commitment of self-care and compassion.
Class will include 50 minutes of combined movement to increase balance, stamina and flexibility. Session will conclude with 10 minutes meditation and/or mindfulness teaching.
